Kitesurfing Basic course

Level 1 you will learn basic knowledge such as different risk situations, 5 step mantra for structured preparation that provides safe kite surfing, which nearby safe beaches / places to surf, wind window and wind phenomena. How safe and practical rigging of the kite equipment takes place. The right equipment for the right wind conditions. Security systems are reviewed and tested by the kite student.

  • Learn to set up the equipment for the lesson on the water

  • Assessment: Kite spot & obstacles, surroundings, activity.

  • Hold, carry and secure the kite on land

  • Rig the kit

  • Function security systems

  • Pre-flight control

  • Start and land as an assistant

C

  • First piloting and discovering the wind edge of the window

  • Release the boom

  • Twist and unwind the ropes while flying kit

D

  • Fly the kite and one hand on the boom

  • Trim system introduction

  • Go ashore with the flyer kite

  • Start and land the kits as kites

E

  • Test of QR quick release activation

  • Land the kit yourself

  • Pack the equipment

 

Prerequisites - No previous knowledge required.

How safe and practical rigging of the kite equipment takes place. The right equipment for the right wind conditions. Security systems are reviewed and tested by the kite student.

 

Already after 45 minutes of theory and safety review, the kite begins to fly practically out on the water. Our experience after many years of education, is that the best and fastest learning gets the kite student on the water and not in a classroom with theory.

In all of our surfing courses, we set up the course, so that you as a student learn to make the right decision independently, in different situations and trust your own feeling with the kit and equipment.
